Microsoft Releases Blogging Open Source Service
Microsoft launches an open source blogging application named Oxite. User can download this platform freely at site codeplex.com in alpha version.
This new source code platform has been posting since last Friday at site codeplex, and Microsoft officially announces the release this Monday. This platform is available under Microsoft public license, one of open source license of Microsoft.
Oxite is a blog engine that made using ASP. NET MVC. It has feature as Wordpress and blogger, like pingback, trackback, anonymous or authenticated commenting, gravatars and RSS feed.
User can make and edit site display or add certain html. Until this news is reported, there are around 6480 internet users that downloaded this platform.
Oxite also can be integrated with Microsoft software developer like ASP.NET MVC, Studio Visual Team Suite, and Background Services Architecture. One matter that retards the use of Oxite, the user must use windows hosting.
